Area Sales Manager (Dallas/FTW Region)Pro-face is currently seeking an Area Sales Manager to be based out of the Dallas/FTW Area to grow business and achieve annual sales goals. Key responsibilities will include driving sales activity through direct and distributors to achieve annual sales goals; working closely with the Sales and District Managers in managing the distribution channel and developing relationships and motivating assigned distributors to facilitate the sales process. The Area Manager will work directly with key customers to meet their needs and close strategic orders.
Position requirements include BS in engineering, computer science or equivalent; 4-6 years direct sales experience in the industrial automation market, preferably HMI or control systems; strong presentation and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently.

FIELD APPLICATIONS ENGINEER (Northeast territory: ME, NH, VT, MA, RI, CT, New York, New Jersey and Eastern PA, MD, DE) We are currently seeking a Field Applications Engineer to be based in the New England Area. The FAE will provide application and service support to customers, channel partners and the Pro-face sales management team throughout the district. The support will include Xycom hardware, firmware, and software products as well as customers' application software. The FAE will also provide on-site customer training or service of Pro-face and Xycom products, including product seminars and updates. The position will require extensive travel throughout the district.
Minimum qualification requirements include an Associates degree in Computer Science or Electronic/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent job related experience and knowledge. A minimum of 2 years application engineering experience with Pro-face or competitors' products and strong PLC knowledge is preferred.

Product Marketing Manager (Chicago)We are currently seeking a Product Marketing Manager. The PMM role will manage the Pro-face product management team. This team is collectively responsible for the North American management of Pro-face’s Human Machine Interface (HMI) and Industrial Computer (IPC) product lines. The product lines managed include automation process visualization devices and HMI software, industrial computers with and without displays, industrial monitors, accessories, and pre-integrated industrial computer and software solutions. The PMM will oversee the team that is responsible for product planning and execution throughout the product life cycle. Specific work involves definition of customer solutions, product line positioning, and competitive analysis. It also involves leading and participating in product and business planning, market and opportunity definition, gathering and prioritizing customer and product requirements, volume forecasting, as well as coordination with research and development, marketing communications, field support teams, sales and channel leads, and with other business groups.
Minimum qualification requirements include a minimum of 4 years related experience, Automation industry knowledge and control system background, creativity, initiative, judgment, and the energy to work as part of a fast-paced group. A facts-based decision maker who follows thru on her/his commitments with demonstrated customer relationship development and management skill. Has the ability to work and collaborate effectively with various functional groups through excellent communications skills and influence capabilities and formal training in pricing and forecasting desirable. Knowledge of and practical experience of best practices in product development and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering field, or equivalent.

Specific work involves assisting in definition of customer solutions, product line positioning, and competitive analysis. It also involves assisting in gathering and prioritizing customer and product requirements, conducting customer economic analysis, volume forecasting, and promotion and product life cycle management. A minimum of 2 years related experience required with automation industry knowledge and control system background. Must have the ability to work and collaborate effectively with various functional groups and have strong analytical and organizational skills. Must have excellent communications skills and influence capabilities, knowledge of or practical experience of best practices in product development, and strong problem-solving skills and a basic understanding of plant line efficiency and manufacturing execution systems.
