Xycom Automation Announces 5019 19" Flat Panel Monitor

Saline, MI - Saline, MI, October 20, 2004, Xycom Automation, Inc., a subsidiary of Pro-face America, Inc. and a market leader in Industrial PCs, announces the release of the 5019 flat panel touch monitor. The 5019 is a low cost, high-performance, panel mount, 19" LCD touch monitor suitable for demanding plant floor as well as Class I & II, Division 2 Hazardous Location installations.

Based on the latest TFT LCD technology, the 5019 displays images with resolutions up to 1280 x 1024 with refresh rates up to 75Hz. With a typical brightness of 300 nits, 700:1 contrast ratio and 160-degree symmetrical viewing cone, the 5019 produces outstanding image quality. Its state-of-the-art integral scaling engine allows lower resolution images, such as 640 x 480, and 800 x 600 to be smoothly stretched to fill the full 19" viewing area. The 5019 accepts inputs from standard 15-pin analog VGA, DVI, S-video and composite video.

Solidly engineered and tested, 5019 is built using all metal construction and a powder coated aluminum front bezel that meets NEMA 4/4X/12 sealing requirements. In addition to panel mounting, the 5019 may be attached to any VESA 100 mm standard mounting arm. Screen adjustment controls are conveniently located on the front bezel and can be disabled via a lock out switch located on the rear of the monitor. Additionally, the back of the monitor has provisions for mounting Xycom's 1300-CLIENT and 1506 node computers. Other important optional features include 24VDC input power, a 304 stainless steel front bezel and an analog touch screen with choice of RS232 or USB interfaces
