This latest release includes a host of new connectivity features such as: Web server, FTP server, Network Printer Server, plus remote HMI operator interface screen viewer with control. New Security enhancements allow end-users to track user log-in and review the HMI Operation Log or historical trending. Plus, GP-Pro EX 2.1 includes an added bonus for Programmers; Logic Simulation allows testing and debugging without having I/O connected. These Powerful enhancements significantly reduce service travel time, development time and address factory floor security concerns.
Innovative Features: Pro-face is well known world wide for its innovative HMI features. With Live video input and recording, Direct USB and Serial barcode input, Ladder Logic programming on any HMI even if no I/O is connected and the multi protocol gateway functionality of any Pro-face AGP3000 series HMI, GP-Pro EX V2.1 is no exception.
Reduced Development Time: GP-Pro EX software allows you to reuse all or part of existing projects, create and share extensive templates between developers and offers PC simulation of HMI Screens and Logic for rapid development. A variety of search, replace and cross reference tools are available in the Screen Editor, Logic Editor and Online.
Superior Connectivity: GP-Pro EX V2.1 introduces new communication protocols, adding to the 80+ protocols now available allowing connections to almost every industry standard factory floor device, including PLCs, Motion Controller, Drives and temperature controllers that are found in HMI applications worldwide. Local USB and Serial printers can be connected directly to any Pro-face AGP3000 and GP-Pro EX V2.1 introduces the Remote Print Server capability to reduce cost and provide your printed production data where you need it. Barcode readers can be connected to Serial and USB ports, including support for serial 2D barcode readers.
Reducing Maintenance Overhead: GP-Pro EX V2.1 includes maintenance tools like Device Monitor, Logic Monitor and Event Recorder that offer a direct window into the heart of your installed system on your HMI. The free new Web Server and FTP Server tools offer information about the installed system, alarm logs and live PLC data remotely using a Web Browser. Event Recorder helps capturing intermittent failures in the field by recording live video of event leading to a failure while the GP-Pro EX software can be used to reduce support time by providing text, graphical or video help on your frequently asked support questions. The new Operation Log function helps control the production process, while Data Logging and Historical Trending collect and visualize production data.
